Legends about The Little Red Dwarf from Ostrava
5. 11. 2011
In Ostrava you can hear many stories about the little red dwarf who lives in the mines´ corridors under the town and the castle. The first legend tells a story about a miner who found treasure at the same time as the little red dwarf. The dwarf wanted to give everything to the miner but he insisted on taking the exact half of the treasure. Later the dwarf told him that he would have to stay under ground for ever if he had taken more than his half. The second legends tells about an old miner who was deceived by his friends. The dwarf gave him gold. The third legends tells about naughty boys who threw a cap into a hole. The boys laughed but then the dwarf threw the cap back full with gold coins. Then the boys threw their caps into the hole. The dwarf threw them back too but torn into pieces. Now the dwarf was laughing.
